Subliminal messages are everywhere, but now people are finding them and sharing them with the viral power of youtube.

Subliminals are only very slight suggestions which go into your mind un-noticed. i.e. they don't alarm your logical thinking function like an overt suggestion would – or you may find yourself arguing / fighting against it. Subliminal messages go straight into your mind without any resistance from your critical mind and will slowly start to change your beliefs, thoughts, and even physical behavior.

Due to their power to influence us subliminal messages are being used by everyone – from McDonalds to politicians, and their continued use only ads more evidence to their power.

A really famous popular example is when McDonalds were busted for using subliminal advertising on the food network. During the Iron Chef program a flash of the McDonalds logo is seen for just 1/10^th of a second.

Through youtube this subliminal advert received major attention worldwide.

McDonalds denied the use of subliminals, instead blaming the food network, who obviously also denied everything, saying it was a production error and not intentional.

We all have regular access to the internet and anyone can make a video and put it on youtube or google video. if we do this we can increase the awareness of the manipulation which is going on by politicians and corporate companies. Only when we make a massive stand against this practice will the advertisers get a bad reputation and take note.
